    Your First Discworld or Terry Pratchett Book:
    The Colour of Magic was the first, and got me hooked. My favourite - that's SO hard, possibly Small Gods, or anything with Granny Weatherwax. Or Sam Vimes. I love the way Pratchett plays with language, and the characters he brings to life.
