"I'm not that fick"

    Quick question from a newby.

    Near the end of "The Fifth Elephant", Vimes rhetorically asks Detritus to kill someone, and Detritus replies "I'm not that fick". Is he saying "I'm not that sick" or "I'm not that thick"? I can't decide.

    But yes, Detritus is saying he's not *that* dumb.

    Hi,(I too am. . . . a newbie!!! (gasps of shock and horror)). Definately thick, Detritus is saying that he isn't thick enough too follow orders blindly when he knows that they are wrong, unlike whoeveritis - I forget - that Vimes is speaking to at the time.
