"the forces of corned-beef-driven tyranny" Ok, that has to be the best line I've read in an article in a long, long time.

Blair is one of the best leaders we have ever had.
okay, so the Iraq war was a hiccup* but the fact is that Blair knows what the country wants and needs.

*a huge hiccup, on collosal scales.

Read some of the other articles on that site. The writers have a certain... style.

Not to get into a political arguement but that has to be a matter of opinion

Yes. In fact, the fact is that that is an opinion and not a fact. :p

Yes, unfortunately public opinion seems to matter so much in politics. So much that it can become fact for some in the light of any other evidence.

suppose so, but is's something I feel quite strongly about, I know the country has lost it's old pride, and that is regrettable, but in ecomonic terms, what is Blair supposed to do? He took the title of Prime Minister when England was losing it's industry, he couldn't do anything about it.
