I woke up this morning with what I think is a cool idea. We could call the moderators something different other than moderators, something to do with the Discworld that sets them aside from the image of moderators on other boards, so the word moderator doesn’t appear anywhere but you can still see that someone is tending to problems.

At first I thought of The Watch, which kind of fits but I thought it too similar to the police.
Then I thought of Auditors, but Marcia says that she...
We have them in Discworld Novels on the original board, which does cause some confusion with newcomers - but that's not always a bad thing, I like a bit of confusion.

Anyway, the reason we do all post in Discworld Novels is becasue it's the closest thing we have to a general discussion forum - what I'm saying is, should we have a seperate general discussion forum on...

Well this will eventually lead to an election poll, but first we need candidates. For someone to be up for nomination they should have 2 seperate people nominate them, then they have the choice to be put up for nomination or to pull out. Obviously we need more than one moderator so suggestions for the number we should have would be welcome. I think 3 would be the absolute minimum (plus Mal as administrator), but I've no idea on what the maximum should be
