We're currently having about 41 visitors and 5 members online, and we've had equally high (and higher) numbers in the past. Also, is it the same counter on the home page (and games, articles, etc.) as on the message board ? I often see a difference when there are several members online on the homepage and when I get to the boards there are less...
The counter on the homepage pertains to people on the entire site; the one on the message board only counts people on the message board section.
